At Advisors Integrity Financial Group, we always consider every alternative to resolve consumer financial needs from how to create a tax-favored retirement income to how to finance college without government intervention. Healthcare is no exception. Unfortunately, while the Affordable Healthcare Act (AHCA) was aimed at fixing the health Insurance costs for Americans without health insurance, it simultaneously made health insurance virtually unaffordable for many Middle Americans.
As an example, prior to the implementation of the AHCA, our family of 5 had traditional health insurance with a $5000 deductible with a total monthly premium at approx. $570 per month. However, under the AHCA, the premiums for myself alone skyrocketed to over $560 and with a $12,700 deductible.
To include the family was well over $1,000 per month and as it was, completely unaffordable. When you do the math, we needed to pay nearly $25,000 for premiums and health care expenses, before our insurance would even provide a
dime of coverage.
The Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM) solved our Challenge. As one of the most affordable alternatives to the high cost of Health insurance, CHM is not faith-based health-care sharing program for Christians across the USA. to An eligible option under thenational healthcare law,CHM is thousandsof Christians united in sharing each other's medical bills.
Founded in 1981, Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM) is a voluntary non-profit health-care sharing ministry for Christians, through which participating Christians meet each other’s medical bills. CHM members have shared more than $1 billion in medical bills. The ministry is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
Christian Healthcare Ministries is not a health insurance company. Rather, a group of thousands of Christians across the United States and around the world who share each other’s burdens in the area of health care costs.
We also pray for and encourage one another.
Existing as a ministry for nearly 35 years having served more than 100,000 people. However, our history goes as far back as New Testament times. CHM is based on Galatians 6:2 and Acts 2 and 4.
